Sinopse:

The Children is a short ethnographic documentary film which follows and documents the unusual routine of five children in the middle school of the village of Plitkovic, at the heart of Kosovo. These children make up the only class of the school and they are all of different ages. The phenomenon of isolated schools and the low number of students in them is fairly new to Kosovo. The movement of entire families from rural areas to bigger cities, especially the capital, occurred in the first years after the 1999war. This film attempts to view only one side of this larger phenomenon.
